John is an avid hunter, fisherman, and camper, and used to run trap-lines in the Midwest in his youth - before finally settling in Wyoming 25 years ago. John produces only a handful of hand-crafted, carbon steel blade knives each year. John uses pre-serviced materials in the spirit that blacksmiths have historically done for centuries. Through his experience as a former U. S. Marine, Peace Corps volunteer, science school-teacher in the Australian Outback, wildlands firefighter and field geologist, comes an artifact tough enough to skin a moose, yet elegant enough to display on your mantle.
