3rd Annual Cody Art Competition
Presented By: Cody Country Art League and Coca-Cola
Timing: February 1 - April 30, 2010
Theme: This is Cody! (What Cody means to you)
Criteria:
- Utilize Coca-Cola in some fashion into the art depicting your idea of Cody
Eligibility:
- Open to all professional and amateur artists
- Must be Cody area resident
- Must submit application and artwork no later than April 30, 2010
- No entries will be accepted if works are deemed copies of other artist's works
- Each artist may submit one (1) original work
- All works must be dry and ready for display
- Maximum size not to exceed 24" x 24"
- Coca-Cola and The Art League will accept no responsibility for loss or damage, but all precautions will be taken against usual hazards while in possession.
- Coca-Cola and The Art League reserve the right to photograph and use of any entry for publication.
Deadlines: Properly completed entry blanks and artwork must be delivered to Cody Country Art League no later than April 30, 2010. Entries received after this date will NOT be eligible for judging and/or awards. Entry form and artwork may be delivered during regular business hours: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday to Cody Country Art League, 836 Sheridan Avenue, Cody, WY 82414. Awards:
Best work in each category meeting criteria will be awarded $200
- Painting/Drawing - Amateur
- Painting/Drawing - Professional
- Other Art (sculpture, etc)
Judges:
Highly qualified judges are used, but had not been named at time of printing. All awards are subject to the discretion of the judges and decisions rendered will be final.
Reception
There will be an artists' reception on Thursday, May 6, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. for judges, exhibiting artists and their families. Awards will be presented at this time.
